Prince George, B.C.- The merchants and businesses in downtown Prince George are banding together to have a block party Friday, all in the name of raising funds for the CIBC Run for the Cure.
Barriers will be put in place at Third and Brunswick at 10:00 am on Friday to set the stage for the party that will start at 11:00 and go until 3:00 in the afternoon.
There will be a bar-b-que, ice cream, Mexican chilli, a silent auction, and a dunk tank where you can pay to give it your best shot at seeing a City Councillor, RCMP member, Firefighter, or even some of the downtown merchants, “dunked”.
This is an expansion of the annual bar-b-que put on by the downtown branch of the CIBC to raise funds for the Run for the Cure.
