More Fire Fighters from Ontario and Alberta Coming to B.C.

Williams Lake, B.C.- Another 160 firefighters from Alberta and Ontario will be arriving in B.C. today to help battle the blazes in the Cariboo Chilcotin region.
 
The fires in the Cariboo continue to rage with all evacuation alerts and orders still in effect.
 
The Dog Creek fire, is now 20% contained.  The Meldrum Creek fires now cover an area of approximately 180 square kilometres. There has been a significant amount of activity on these fires over the last couple of days.
 
There are no significant changes in the Pelican Lake, Marguerite Ferry, Quesnel River, Upper Wentworth Lake   or the fire west of Alexis Creek.  
 
Meantime, the Tatuk Lake fire ( 55 km south of Vanderhoof) in the Prince George Fire Centre has been fully contained and the evacuation orders  for residents in that area have been cancelled.

I suppose the Liebrals had better increase the HST to 14% to pay for the firefighting over run and at the the same time decrease all those carbon footprints we are making.
What happened to the days when we hired locals sitting around on EI? Why not keep our money in this province? Fighting a fire is not rocket science with the proper leaders. I was fighting fire at age 16 and I might add I saved BC from becomming total cinders.
