98th Edition of PGX Starts This Morning

Prince George, B.C.- The 98th Edition of the Prince George Exhibition starts this morning with gates officially opening at 10:00.
The fair will run through Sunday, and today is “Wacky West Coast Wednesday” which means if you wear a cowboy hat, you can cut $2.00 off the price of admission.
There are some changes to admission this year, with rates a little higher than they have been in the past, that is to help the PGX with it's financial issues created by a pay out on a law suit.
The new admission rates are:
- kids 3 and under are free
- Youth 4-12 $7.50
- General 13-59 $10.00
- Seniors 60+ $8.50
You can get a break in the admission by taking advantage of the special theme days. Today, ( as already mentioned) if you wear a cowboy hat,you can trim $2.00 off the gate price. Toomorrow is Pioneer's day, so Seniors get in for $2.00 all day. Friday is Kids Day, and that means kids 4-12 pay a twoonie, while those 3 and under are ( as always) free.
The Gates are open from 10:00 this morning until 10:00 tonight, ( at 10 p.m. gates are exit only).
The midway is open from 11:00 until 10:00.
