97 South Closed at Chief Lake Road

Prince George, B.C.-The southbound lane of Highway 97 at Chief Lake Road is closed as police investigate the roll over of a semi tractor trailer.

Initial calls to Opinion 250 indicated a 5 ton cube van and a pick up truck hauling a trailer have collided. RCMP Media Liaison Constable Lesley Smith is awaiting further reports from Traffic Services to clarify the information

There is no word yet on possible injuries or what may have caused the crash.

Truckers talking on the radio who witnessed it said there were no injuries.

My wife drove by shortly after it happened, she says it was a motorhome towing a vehicle, and a cube van, that collided.
The motorhome ended up partly on North Kelly, partly across Chief Lake Road, while the cube van was on it's side.
