Prince George, B.C. -  A 44-year-old Prince George man is facing charges under the Motor Vehicle Act, following a collision on Highway 97N in the Hart that closed the route for several hours yesterday.

The crash occurred around 11am yesterday morning on the highway, at the intersection with Chief Lake Road.  RCMP Constable Lesley Smith says a Chev pick-up truck pulling a trailer with two quads was stopped at the intersection, but advanced forward and failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

Smith says the pick-up clipped the back-end of a southbound five-tonne cube van, causing the van to roll on its side.  The 62-year-old male driver of the van, from Vancouver, was transported to University Hospital of Northern B.C. with non life-threatening injuries.

Traffic was re-routed to Foothills Boulevard while police closed the highway to conduct their investigation.  The pick up sustained serious damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Another clown running around with ATVs, destined to be an annoyance on our roads and a fire hazard in the bush.
Now they are proving to be a danger even when on trailers.
So are people with comments like the one you have posted above!
Where do these people come from?
Mostly Prince George, but I have seen them from all over the world.

That was SummerSoul and that was her opinion.
So now whenever I move my atv I am instantly "a clown"? What if its for work purposes? Am I destined to be an annoyance if its for firefighting? Give your head a shake... this is about bad driving and has nothing to do with atvs.
