Meatloaf Officially Cancels Concert at CN Centre

Prince George, B.C.- Meatloaf has cancelled his CN Centre appearance along with several other planned concerts in the region.

The singer had health problems a few weeks ago that affected his vocal chords, and had initially hoped to quickly recover and reschedule this concert.

For a variety of reasons, rescheduling has not been possible, and the concert is now officially cancelled.

Ticket holders who purchased tickets from Ticketmaster via the Internet or by phone will have their money automatically refunded to their credit cards, and they can expect this credit to show up in approximately 1 – 2 weeks.

If people purchased their tickets in person at a Ticketmaster box office, they need to go in person to their point of purchase and get their refund, however, refunds will not be given until after August 25^th to allow Ticketmaster time to prepare.

CN Centre manager, Andy Beesley, is disappointed “We are all very disappointed that we will not have the opportunity to see this legendary performer, however, we hope that at some time in the future we may have the opportunity to rebook him”.

Is that meatloaf or MEATBALL? Go back to yankee land and stay there as far as I am concerned...never was much and now is a has been in my opinion.

If he has a serious health problem he should take the time out to recover. I hope he does and resumes performing- what he loves to do.

They are good singers. Was going to see the concert. Hope they come one day. By the way, Bcracer should leave town before we find out who you are.

Now now, it is just a negative opinion of a classic rock used to be.
Personally I still enjoy his classic first album (remember 33 RPM vinyl).

BCRacer has as much right to dislike any performer as any one does to like said performer.

Perhaps BCRacer needs a little paradise by the dashboard light?

I am just kind of sad that I will not be able to see the concert, but I understand that if he is having medical issues and cannot make all his dates, some will have to be cancelled.

Hope he gets better, and heads back this way sometime in the future.

Meatloaf did not cancel the concert due to an illness, he is doing a radio show in New York on the night that he was suppost to be in Prince George.
