Prince George, B.C.- Meatloaf has cancelled his CN Centre appearance along with several other planned concerts in the region.
The singer had health problems a few weeks ago that affected his vocal chords, and had initially hoped to quickly recover and reschedule this concert.
For a variety of reasons, rescheduling has not been possible, and the concert is now officially cancelled.
Ticket holders who purchased tickets from Ticketmaster via the Internet or by phone will have their money automatically refunded to their credit cards, and they can expect this credit to show up in approximately 1 – 2 weeks.
If people purchased their tickets in person at a Ticketmaster box office, they need to go in person to their point of purchase and get their refund, however, refunds will not be given until after August 25th to allow Ticketmaster time to prepare.
CN Centre manager, Andy Beesley, is disappointed “We are all very disappointed that we will not have the opportunity to see this legendary performer, however, we hope that at some time in the future we may have the opportunity to rebook him”.
