American Biker In Critical Condition

Ft.Nelson- police say alcohol is not a factor in a motorcycle crash that has left a USA biker in critical condition .
 
On August 19, 2010 at approximately 4:45 pm, Fort Nelson RCMP responded to a Motor Vehicle incident located at kilometer 670 on the Alaska Highway, near Toad River, BC.
 
Raymond Dress of Ohio, USA was traveling South bound on the Alaska Highway and lost control of his motorcycle. Dress sustained life threatening injuries and was airlifted by Air Ambulance to Dease Lake, BC and then on to Vancouver General Hospital where he remains in critical condition.
 
The immediate family of Dress have been informed. Alcohol is not suspected. RCMP are continuing the investigation

I often wonder if these things are caused by small amounts of gravel on the road acting as marbles to a bike on two wheels....
