Prince George, B.C. -  A Prince George man has been seriously injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred in the city around 9pm last night.

RCMP say the man was expected to be airlifted to hospital in Vancouver as a result of the injuries he sustained in a crash that occurred at the intersection of 2th Avenue and Moffat Street.

The man was in a car with two other individuals that was struck by a truck that was believed to be travelling at a high rate of speed.  Both the passengers in the car and two occupants of the truck suffered minor injuries.

RCMP remained on the scene for several hours after the accident, while a traffic reconstructionist was called in to examine the scene.

Take the driver's permit away for ten years. Make him pay all the hospital bills (I know, it won't happen - WE are going to pay!) plus compensation for all the pain and suffering!

Too bad people got injured - I hope they recover soon!

(So much for setting one's own speed limits!).
