The guns will be recovered once registered.
oh, you mean they don't have a GPS on them. Maybe GM needs to put OnStar system on it.

Love that Onstar.
So much for gun registration. If (when) these guns end up in a crack house how will anyone know. Kinda shoots a hole in the whole registry thing doesn't it. Total waist of taxpayers money.
They will be found, after all they are registered aren't they, isn't that the idea?

Good pun, my friend!
I'm not a gun owner at present, though I have been in the past, but I have a question: why is it such a big deal to have to register your rifles and shot guns?
We register our cars, we take out a library card (assuming we can read), heck, we even register our newborns, in a fashion, so why such a big deal with guns?
Are people really worried that the government will take away our firearms if they have to register them? What evidence do we have that this will happen?
This is my first post, so go easy on me.
Krusty it is the 2 billion wasted on nothing that maybe could have been spent on real crime.
I feel sorry for the guy who lost them because he will inevitably be charged with unsafe storage and banned from owning them again. I had a friend who had a rifle stolen from his truck and they charged him with unsafe storage. That was 15 years ago.
