WE ARE WINTER!

Prince George, B.C.- The Atrium at the CN/Kin Centres erupted in cheers as Premier Gordon announced the host city for the 2015 Winter Games "History begins today.....in Prince George."

In the atrium, people hugged and cheered, and some had tears in their eyes, "We won , we won" people said as a wave of pride swept through the crowd .

Not as much as they would have if we did not get this. We will get some much needed infrastructure refurbished with money from provincial as well as federal taxpayers. :-)

I'm a taxpayer and I wanted this to happen. Everyone in Canada that pays taxes will end up paying for this, so we might as well enjoy the benefits from the extra Government money.

Are we complaining that Halifax got the 2011 Games? I'm sure they received Federal funding, in which everyone contributed some money to.

Just think, mythoughts, by that time we will be HST free so fewer dollars will be leaking out of the community at this event. :-)
