I fail to see any humor in that 'cartoon'.
There is nothing humorous about two political parties fighting each other over a 2 billion dollar registry. Take that Mr cartoonist.
What on earth would Jack Layton do if he didn't take the opposite side of every issue our Prime Minister takes? Anyone think that the Liberals or the NDP will agree with anything the Conservatives are doing? Give your heads a shake.
I hope the PM wins this duel.
The reason it cost $ 2 billion was because it was a boondoggle for the federal Liberals. Many Liberal hacks got involved and got a piece of the action. In reality, it wasn't a long gun registry, but a vechile that the Liberals used to give their supporters some money or others rewards.
The point is it wasn't the registry that cost so much money, it was the way it was used to help Liberal cronies.
Good point Chester!
It doesn't seem to matter if it is right or wrong, these two clowns take the opposite slant on it every time!
Which is also why nothing has been done to improve our justice system either!
Even when they know something is right, they run the other way!
You are also right astro.
The gun registry was a Liberal vote grab, nothing more.
Sure would like to see an audit to find out where all that money went?
Where's Sheila Fraser on this one or was it just part of all the other scandals.
