City Puts out Welcome Mat for International Students

Prince George, B.C.- The City of Prince George is putting out the welcome mat and  the party favours to help welcome 600 international students to the City.
 
On Friday, international students with School District 57, CNC and UNBC are being welcomed to an event at City Hall.
 
From 3-5:30, international students are being invited to take part in a bar- b- q, meet with community leaders and make some community connections.
 
The event is meant to celebrate Prince George’s diversity and inclusiveness, encourage  on going student engagement in civic activities, and support the recruitment and retention of skilled workers.
