Prince George, B.C.- Although the Premier has announced there will be a binding referendum on the HST on September 24th of next year, the Fight HST campaign says that’s not soon enough.

The Fight HST campaign wants the province to hold the vote before the end of this year and will be holding a rally   on Saturday in front of MLA Pat Bell’s Prince George Constituency office to press their point.

“Waiting another year will just add to the economic uncertainty,” says  Eric Allen, spokesperson for the Fight HST group in the Prince George – Mackenzie and Prince George – Valemount ridings.

“We need a clear question and a fair and timely referendum,” he adds,  “If the government continues to stubbornly refuse to provide this, we will definitely be having recalls of MLAs across the province.”

The rally in Prince George is set to take place at 10 a.m. Saturday . Allen says the group will also be making a special announcement about it’s  plans for the Prince George-Mackenzie, and Prince George Valemount ridings.

The Fight HST campaign has released a list which carries the names of 18 MLA’s   who could be among the first to face recall.    If people want to see a recall action in their particular riding, they will have to sign up to volunteer.   The three ridings with the most volunteers as of November 15th, will see recall actions started in January.

Can you say deficit beans?....

Colin Hansen has magic beans that turn deficits into cash!!!

It`s bad when the people don`t trust the government...

What`s worse?...

When people and pundits laugh at the BC Liberals incompetance!

Could you local Prince George residents ask Shirley Bond where we are going to get $900 million dollars to pay CN rail?

Oh, haven`t you heard, B.C. has to pay CN rail back ALL the money they paid for BC Rail....

And..

CN Rail gets to keep BC Rail...Gordon Campbell just screwed BC out of our railway...

Please ask your Transportation minister Shirley Bond to clarify.

"Information about Gonorrhea Lectim (British Columbia strain)

The BC Center for Disease Control has issued a warning about a new virulent strain of this old disease. The disease is called Gonorrhea Lectim. It's pronounced "Gonna re-elect 'em," and it is a terrible affliction

The disease is contracted through dangerous and high risk behavior involving putting your cranium up your rectum. Many victims contracted it in 2010...but now most people after having been infected for the past 1-2 years are starting to realize how destructive this sickness is.

It's sad because Gonorrhea Lectim is easily cured with a new drug just coming on the market called Votumout (pronounced "vote-em-out"). You take the first dose in 2010 (HST variant) and the second dose in 2013 and simply don't engage in such behavior again; otherwise, it could become permanent and eventually wipe out all life as we know it.

Most ridings are already on top of this, like many in the interior and apparently now on the Island, with many more seeing the writing on the wall.

Good stuff Loki....!

Cheers from the Powell river persuader
I wish people would give credit where credit is due.

Where it comes from, I don't know, but that one is dated March 2005 and dealt with Bush .... :-)
Good one Loki!
And your right Grant G...I read it in the Vancouver sun yesterday.
We could in fact end up paying CN Rail upwards of $900,000,000!
Interesting how somebody managed to keep it of the front pages?
Wonder if the CBC saw it or were they asleep again?
We should be damn concerned about this, just as we should be damned concerned about the B.C.rail trial itself.
What a farce..and the media won't touch it!
We should all also be concerned about that too!

And by the way...if that was to happen, would that not mean that CN Rail got B.C.Rail for free?
Do we still think something doesn't stink on the entire B..Rail scam?
And another thing...why was the money CN Rail paid (900 mil)still sitting in an account all this time?
Was someone expecting this?
Just like everything else Campbell has given all our provincially owned assetts away to his buddies and we are left with nothing. I'm surprised some of BC Hydro is left and I said some.
"some" is right acrider!
Campbell is working very hard at proving Paul Nettleton right!
That has not gone unnoticed,either!
Recall my foot, the election is 2013 save your penny's and energy. Recall is like a fart in the wind

Psalm 2009 -- FIRST BOOK OF GOVERNMENT

Campbell is the shepherd I did not want.

He leadeth me beside the still mills and shops.

He restoreth my faith in the New Democratic party.

He guideth me in the path of unemployment for his party's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the bread line,

I shall fear no hunger, for his Olympic promises

are with me.

He has anointed my income with taxes...HST being the latest

My expenses runneth over.

Surely, poverty and hard living will follow me all the

days of my life,

And I will live in a mortgaged home forever.

I am glad I am Canadian

I am glad that I am free.

But I wish I was a dog ....

And Campbell was a tree.

Amen.

Regarding the media, and how there are some things they wont touch...

It would probably be scary to know how many things are going on out there that they are not allowed to talk about. I think freedom of the press only goes so far these days.

Hopefully groups like Fight HST can be successful in making these politicians take notice that they are not elected into a four year dictatorship where they can do as they please. They are supposed to be serving the best interests of the people. However somewhere along the way 'the people' turned into 'big business'... money talks I suppose...
PrinceG55. You sound like those people who said that getting 10% of the registered voters in 85 ridings would be impossible and would never happen.

Why is it that the naysayers are prone to keep their mouths shut after they are proved to be wrong???? but then move on to the next issue and make the same stupid statements???

What do you know about the re-call process? I suspect you would not be willing to get off your ass and do something. A fart in the wind will drift away if your outside collecting signatures, however if you are sitting on your ass, then it sticks with you.

Have a nice day.
Well said Peter! It is too bad that MLA's do not think like you. We pay them high wages, expense accounts and retirements to betray us for big business. When you see Campbell and Harper both meeting with the Builderberg group it becomes clear as to who they are puppets to. The rights to our rivers and resources are being taken from us behind closed doors and by the time we know the extent of it, it will be far too late. Just read up on the Bilderberg group and their agenda and you will then see the pattern.

If you want to see how long we have been screwed type "Oh Canada, Our Bought and Sold Off Land" in your search engine. We need to wake up and soon!
I cant understand why is the recalls not starting on Nov 16? Why is it waiting until new years. By new year we could already have 3 of these bums removed from office it would be a nice christmas present for gordo. Maybe he might see fit to allow the referendum to start in Jan. Just seems to me that some how were missing almost 2 months and thats all the time needed to gather the signatures. I was a petition canvasser and I know how many people were eager to sign. I will be happy to visit them all again hopefully starting Nov 16 here in PG/Mackenzie. I really dislike pat bell and cant wait to see him fired. He deserves it IMO and I am going to work extra hard to get even more signatures this time.
