Trout Lake- The search for 83 year old Ruth Hjorth has come to a tragic end.

 

The body of the elderly woman was found on her property north of Trout Lake yesterday.

 

Hjorth who suffered from dementia had often gone for walks on her property.

 

She went missing on September 18^th and an extensive air and ground search had been conducted by family and community members, Quesnel Search and Rescue, and an RCMP search dog.

 

No foul play is suspected.
