Prince George, B.C.- City Councilor Murry Krause is back on the North Central Local Government Association.  He has been appointed to fill the position that was left vacant following the resignation of Councillor Lianne Olson from Burns Lake Council.

“As Past President of our organization, Murry was really the logical choice as an Interim Director, and I am very pleased that he was willing to step in and fill this position for us on short notice” said NCLGA President  Mike Bernier.
Krause will step into the position immediately, and remain until elections are held at the NCLGA AGM in May 2011 in Prince Rupert.

“It was very disappointing to lose Lianne from our Board as she was always very enthusiastic and willing to work hard on behalf of our association. We will really miss her”, says Bernier.

The NCLGA will hold its next Executive Meeting in conjunction with the Union of BC Municipalities Convention in Whistler from September 27th to October 1st

What does that position pay?
It's a volunteer position. It pays nothing.

How noble!
