Prince George, B.C. - The final word on the weather for September is that the month was a little cooler than normal, and a "a bit on the wet side". That's according to Environment Canada Meteorologist Jim Steele.

Here is  his full report:

The month got off to a warm start with the warmest day of the month on the 3rd, temperatures dropped off considerably to remain below normal through to the last week of the month. A burst of what seemed like summer’s last gasp rounded off the month.
In the end, the cooler conditions experienced during the middle of the month trumped the warm start and mild finish to bring in the mean temperatures about a degree below the seasonal normal.

On the precipitation side of things, let us just call it a bit on the soggy side with a few dry periods mixed in. On the positive side of things, there was no snow recorded in the city.
