Body Of Woman Found In LC Gunn Park

Prince George-The Prince George RCMP are currently conducting an investigation involving the discovery of found human remains in the LC Gunn Park area in Prince George.

A large area of the park is cordoned off by investigators in order to conduct a thorough ground search of the grounds and it's foot trails.

"At this time we can confirm that the body is that of a female. Numerous investigational resources from the Prince George RCMP General Investigation Section and RCMP North District Major Crimes Unit are involved at this point".

"This investigation commenced late Friday evening and we are currently looking at determining several key factors, which include confirmation of the woman's identity and whether foul play is a factor in her death" added Cpl Dan Moskaluk.
