Prince George, B.C.-  RCMP  investigators will be combing an area of L.C. Gunn Park   this morning, looking for more clues in the Friday night  discovery of  female remains.

RCMP Corporal Dan Moskaluk says the remains were discovered late Friday night, but cannot say how  police  gained that knowledge.

A portion of the park area was cordoned off on Friday night, and the area  kept  secure.  Investigators  scoured the area  all day yesterday and are expected to be back at it at  this morning.

There are two  women missing from  the Prince George area.  35 year old Cynthia Frances Maas was reported missing  September 23rd, she had not been seen since September 10th.  Also missing is  Natasha Montgomery who was last seen in the area of 2nd and Queensway  in August.

Both women  lived  high risk lifestyles.

Police are not  prepared to say if  they believe  the  remains are that of  one of the missing  women nor are they commenting at this time on the fact  the park is adjacent to Highway 16, which  has  been labelled the "Highway of Tears" because of the number of women who have been murdered, or gone missing from along that  stretch of highway.
