Canada has lost nothing. It's a political game. Portugal can send their troops to the next UN mission.

Obviously its a political game. Canada has lost weight with liberal democratic countries because of our position on kyoto, with African countries because we have diverted aid from them to Latin America and with Arab countries because we support Israel unconditionally.
