Prince George, B.C. -  RCMP in 100 Mile House are just releasing information this afternoon about a bomb threat that forced the evacuation of the local high school yesterday.

Police say the threat was written on a wall inside Peter Skene Ogden Secondary School, and they received word of it at approximately 12:30pm yesterday.

Students and staff were evacuated from the building and RCMP locked down the school and its parking lot, with all of the vehicles, for a thorough search by 100 Mile RCMP, school management and local fire fighters.

In addition, an RCMP Police Dog Service team trained in explosive detection was called in from Quesnel.  The investigation continued until just before 10pm last night without anything being found.

Classes resumed as normal this morning.  The RCMP investigation continues.
