Prince George – Police are continuing their investigation into a home invasion in the 2800 block of Pine St at 9.30 PM. Tuesday.

Once inside the residence the males stole 2 Flat screen TVs, 3 cell phones, cash, 2 xbox and a number of games. The suspects then fled the area in an unknown vehicle. No one was injured during the incident as they were cooperative and complied with the suspect’s demands.
Police spoke to the victims who described the males to be in their late teens early 20s, and were wearing white and black bandannas with sunglasses. RCMP continue to investigate the home invasion and believe the incident was drug related.
"Prince George RCMP have responded to a number of Home Invasions in the past few months and are seeing a number of common factors that may suggest these crimes are connected to the same group and are most likely drug related."

Whatever did happen to the shotgun greetings. I was threatened, so I had to defend myself.
He spoke:
Be real careful with that. In the states its different, you can shoot people more liberally.
Up here in good ol' Canada, we have to have our lives threatened, the guy has to have a weapon in his hand in your house before you can shoot him.
But yeah, whatever happened to shotgun greetings? You'd think with the home invasions happening and "We're Number One",
they'd ease up on the laws surrounding securing the guns in the gun locker.
"Just a minute, Mr. Invader, gotta find my keys, get my gun out, now where did I lock up my ammo"
An employee of the law once told me. "Shoot the person, and then put a knife in his/her hand"
"Luckily they broke in while I was cleaning my gun and polishing the ammo."
Sucks when you're not safe even in your own home. Not much chance to defend yourself against 4 surprise intruders.

Odds are this scum will be back there in a few weeks after everything is replaced so that they can steal new stuff.

How long before these home invasions escalate into beatings and extortion? Or maybe it has and the victims are too scared to report it.....

A once a week occurance nowadays.
gitterdun, quit fear mongering. focus on what you do know and not predicting.
