Police Look for Stolen Skidder

Prince George- RCMP are asking for the public's help in locating a stolen Skid Steer, Truck and Trailer.

Between the hours of 5:00 pm on October 26th and 8:00 am October 27th, a 2003 white Ford F350 dually pick up (license plate CV5696) and a Cat skid steer (model 236B) along with a black tandem trailer (plate #11645C), were stolen from two separate businesses in the BCR industrial site of Prince George B.C.

Suspects gained entry into the locked compounds by cutting the locks on the gates.

Police believe that the two thefts are related and the Truck and Trailer were used to transport the stolen Skid Steer.

Police ask that you contact your nearest detachment with any information you may have.

I think the BCR needs to invest on Shotgun Security Services. Dead theives don't weasel their way out of the crime.

and I am sure we will have raise the ire of some due to these comments..

I work at a local Skid Steer Dealership, Just last week we had the exact same thing happen cut lock, stolen machine and trailer! What a joke!

I think its time that laws are changed to allow owners to protect their own property and themselves, their family and others who really need help without having to be concerned about the law coming after them. This idea about meeting force with only equal force is rediculous. If a guy is 6'2" and weighs 280 and is armed with a baseball bat, the defender who may be only 5'7" and 130 can only defend with an equal weapon??? There is no equality in that. Let the little guy defend with whatever means he can, afterall, he is defending. The offender has no right in the first place to attack or break in or assault. Let's get it right.
Once, if we become allowed to defend with whatever means at our disposal, we will see crime fall off dramatically.
By the way, a skid steer loader is not a skidder.
