Prince George, B.C.- It could be two this afternoon before power is fully restored to areas throughout the Prince George region.
High winds ripped down power lines throughout the region, and at the worst of it, there were 3300 customers in the dark.
B.C Hydro’s spokesperson Bob Gammer says crews worked on the issues overnight and had restored power to about half of those customers by 8:00 this morning, but it could be 2:00 this afternoon before power is fully restored.
Gammer says the worst areas hit are those west of Foothills Boulevard, including Cranbrook Hill and Miworth. There are also issues north of Ft.St. James and some pockets in Vanderhoof.
