The Implementation Team will take on strategic planning for downtown It won’t have any new funding, although there is still about $175 thousand left in the Downtown Partnership contingency fund. The support for this team will likely come in the form of staff resources both at City Hall and at Initiatives Prince George.
Initiatives Prince George will be presenting its strategic plan later this month. It is expected that plan will include a plan for downtown improvements.
The Implementation Team will report to the Downtown Partnership quarterly. The Downtown Partnership will report to Council twice each year.
