Prince George- While some travellers were scrambling to try and make other connections as fog disrupted airline connections at the airport, thieves were busy trying to steal a Black Western Star Tractor in the 5200 block of Continental Drive.

Police say the attempted theft occurred between two and two thirty am. and caused minor damage to the vehicle.

In the case of the travellers the airlines are trying to accommodate those passengers that missed flights later in the day.

If no one else sees the very apparent connection between the two situations, theres something wrong here.
Fine reporting. Can't they tie anything else in with this wierd phenominom?
The folks whose flights were disrupted decided to drive and they had a lot of luggage?
Now there is a PG news story worth not repeating.
Another PG news story not well researched was the girl with the so-called pellet gun in the aboriginal school. Here's what my reporting turned up but you can consider it here-say if you like. For starters, it wasn't a pellet gun. It was an air soft gun and her two brothers came home with a bunch of them that were stolen from a store in Parkwood mall. That's the story I was told from a trusted source. Also, the principal was released before this so called 'shooting' took place.

This young girl(12 yrs old) is a victim of the society she lives in and should not be treated as a criminal but was sent home from school. What good would sending her home do exactly. She is a child and needs guidance as well as instuctions about pointing toy guns. That's all there was to it but the media made a mountain out of it and sensationalised the whole thing. Sad.
