Highway 16 West Of Prince George Closed Due To Accident

Prince George, B.C. - Highway 16, 35 kilometres west of Prince George is closed due to a serious traffic accident.
 
The accident occurred earlier this afternoon, forcing closure of the highway.
 
Police are saying at 8pm. tonight,  that the road will be closed for several more hours.
 
Police are also recommending motorists avoid travel in the region of Prince George because of the poor weather and road conditions.
 
Police were called out to an accident in the Bear Lake area north of Prince George on highway 97 just after 8pm. tonight further adding that road conditions are very poor. There are as yet no details on this and the accident on highway 16 west.

Could this be referring to the logging truck that lost its load out on Hwy 16? It happened early yesterday morning, and the highway was mostly cleared by mid-morning. I expect that they closed the highway in the evening to pick up the rest of the logs that were laying about in the ditch. Scary accident!!
