I hear an NDP jumped ship today as well.....well not jumped ship, but jumped out of their caucus..........

Hard to believe in this day and age how tyey still blindly follow. Good for Bill Bennett!! Hope some more cabinet ministers start to think indepentantly and voice the opinions of thier constituents.

Well its almost a gurantee that anyone who follows Bennett wont be voting liberal next time.. With the low aproval ratings and turmoil in the govt right now they cant afford to create any more enemies.

I admire Bill Bennett for standing up to BC's number one lier, Gordon Campbell. Campbell's little ducklings have fallen in line as expected and run Bill out of the Party. The Liberals are fast losing the respect of the average BC voter. Unless they get rid of Campbell soon, they are in serious trouble. The NDP are in equally serious trouble. What a poor political choice the citizens of BC have at the present time. I hope the media will start bringing out the true person in Gordon Campbell. He is a disgrace to BC.

What is with this darn province anyway? Seems everyone who gets in to power screws up!
Anyone know if this happens in our other provinces on a regular basis like it occurs here?

Don't hold your breath Honestjoe. The media in this province, both print and electronic,seem to dance to the call of Gordo as well. Case in point, the BCR trial coverage. the spin docs at Global are already at it again.

I can't wait to get up in the morning to hear all the great news about politics in BC.........lol

Mind you, things are kind of funny in Quebec right now as well.

Quebec should be 'booted' out of Canada and not given a chance to separate. See how they survive without our 'pity' money. I have written a number of MP's about this problem and the result was: Give us a majority and we will fix it! All the majoritys we've had in the past never fixed it; we need more pressure on Ottawa to remove a separatist party from the House of Commons. The mandate is to do what's best for Canada, not for Montreal. Oh yeah--we were talking about BC...sorry..wrong rant.

I have no problem with them going their own way.
If that's want they want let them go.

Actually BC, Alberta and Sask. should go as well.

But first lets get rid of all haywire politicians in British Columbia, fcol. That's pretty well ALL of them.

To bad our local MLA"s did not have the fortitude of Bill Bennett. Bell, Bond, and Rustad all follow the instructions of Campbell and never let out a whimper of discontent.
Sure would be nice to have an MLA that represented the wishes of their constituents.
