Prince George, B.C.- By the narrowist of margins, the Lheidli T‘enneh have voted to hold a second vote for a ratification of a proposed treaty with the Federal and Provincial governments.

The vote was 92 in favour, 89 against, with 3 spoiled ballots.

No date has been set as to when the new vote will be held.  Chief Dominic Frederick says  the vote could be  held  later next year to allow  all members of the community to  get  clear, understandable, information on the treaty and what it will mean to the community.

Amazing! 3 spoiled ballots to make it otherwise a tie. Hmmmmmm. No worries ---whoever has the most pull will keep having more votes until the desired result is found.
Why would they want a treaty with the Federal and Provincial governments anyway? Those two governments have lied to them and broken treaties ever since life began (same as they do to us).

Exactly how do you figure that? Did you see what the ballots looked like and why they would have been considered to be spoiled?

Marks in wrong place?

Marks could not be deciphered?

There were write-in "maybe" votes?

The possibilities are almost endless.
