With the Winter Opportunties Summit set to get underway this Thursday, organizers are putting on their final push for registrations.
Winter Opportunities Summit Coordinator Mary Graydon says about 150 people from around Northern BC are registered for the summit. “Registrations are still coming in, and with the addition of businesses booking tables for the Susan Auch Luncheon on Friday, we expect close to 300 people taking part in the summit,” says Graydon.
The three day summit is designed to share information on how northern communities can get the best out of the 2010 Olympics. Speakers at the event will cover topics from bulk purchasing, tendering for Olympic contracts, media and tourism.
