Charella Gardens Home Scene of Fire

Flames roar through the roof of a Charella Garden home this morning.

Prince George, B.C.-  Fourteen firefighters from  three halls were called to a  fire  on Charella Gardens  this morning.

Deputy Chief Kelly Gilday says the fire appears to have started   near the chimney of the home.  "There was extensive damage to the roof, but the rest  of the house  was spared from any serious damage."  The call came in around 8:30 this morning.

There was no one home at the time.

Investigators are on the scene to pin point the cause, and to  estimate  the damage.
