Search On For Missing 11-Year-Old Girl

Prince George, B.C. - Prince George RCMP are issuing a public plea this evening in their efforts to locate a missing 11-year-old girl.

Police says Safire Underwood has not been seen since 10pm Thursday evening. It is believed the young girl may be with an older female youth, but no information is available on the teen.

Safire is described as an Aboriginal adolescent with black hair and brown eyes. She is four-feet-11 inches tall and weighs approximately 93 pounds. Police say the girl has a fresh scar on her forehead.

Anyone who may have seen Safire or know of her whereabouts is asked to call the Prince George detachment at 250-561-3300.
