Prince George, B.C. -  City residents wanting to ask Liberal leadership hopeful Christy Clark what she has to offer Prince George will have that opportunity later today.

Clark is the latest leadership candidate to make a stop in the city.  Members of the public are invited to the Gleason Room at the Coast Inn of the North between 1:30pm and 3pm this afternoon to talk with her about issues important to the region.

The former MLA was first elected in 1996 and became Education Minister and Deputy Premier when the Liberals formed the government in 2001.  She says she stepped away from politics in 2005 to spend more time with her family and, since 2007, has been a radio talk show host in Vancouver.

Clark's tour through B.C. made a stop in Williams Lake on Thursday, where she met with members of the Cariboo-Chilcotin Liberal Riding Association.  She moves on to Merritt tomorrow.

So far, there are five declared candidates in the race to replace Premier Gordon Campbell.  The other four are current cabinet ministers:  George Abbott, Mike de Jong, Kevin Falcon, and Moira Stillwell.  B.C. Liberals will pick a new leader February 26th.
