Prince George, B.C. - If you need a way to clear the cobwebs this morning, you might want to consider taking the Ness Lake plunge...

Ness Lake Bible Camp is hosting its 10th annual Polar Bear Dip just after 2:30pm this afternoon -- it's surely a shocking way to ring in the New Year.

The NLBC fundraiser sees all money raised go towards the camp's Summer Team Bursary Fund.  It's $20 to participate in today's briefest-of-brief 'swim', but the fee is waived for anyone who raises more than that in donations.

Check-in time is at 2pm at the log building in the camp's parking lot.  There will be prizes handed out for the best costumes in the Dining Hall at 2:30, along with a talk about safety, before the brave and mighty take turns taking the plunge over a planned four-minute span of 2:33 to 2:37pm.  Happy dipping!
