Weekend Stabbing Targeted Attack

Perince George, B.C.-  Investigators say a stabbing which took place near a community  hall in College Heights  on the weekend,  was a targeted attack.

On December 18th, 2010 at approximately 1:00 AM, the Prince George RCMP responded to a complaint of a stabbing that occurred near the Columbus Community Centre on Domano Boulevard. 
 
Police and the BC Ambulance Service arrived on scene and located a 20 year old male victim.  The victim was transported to the University Hospital of Northern BC for treatment. 
 
Witnesses led police to a older model green GMC Jimmy seen leaving the area.  Police located the vehicle and subsequently arrested the 32 year old male driver for assault with a weapon.  The accused is believed to be a resident of Vancouver, but is known to frequent the Prince George area.
 
The RCMP have determined that both persons were known to each other.  This is a targeted act.
 
This investigation is still in it's early stages.
