"First of July another 6 cent carbon tax per litre, hows that feel folks?"
Actually it will only go up another 1.2 cents a litre which brings the total carbon tax to just over 6 cents a liter. It is not goiing up another 6 cents.

What really bugs me is Where is this carbon tax going? Is it being saved in a big bank acc. collecting interest? Just exactly WHERE and WHAT is this money being used for?

The carbon tax dough? Where is it going? Just a hunch, but I suspect it will go towards paying the "hidden toll" on the Sea to Sky Highway for the next twenty or thirty years. But then again, cynical old me could be wrong.
