Prince George, B.C. – Liberal Leadership hopeful Dr. Moira Stilwell is in Prince George today, but it is a low key event.   She will be meeting with party faithful and several different groups, but no general public event planned.

Over the weekend, Stilwell announced  that if she selected to lead the part, and thereby become Premier, she would propose a government investment of $10 million dollars over four years to enable the College of New Caledonia to provide new Civil Engineering and Bioenergy related programs.

“Prince George is leading the way in strengthening and diversifying the Northern economy. I believe there are great opportunities to encourage the growth and expansion of the key industries in the region which will continue to offer well-paid, long-term jobs,” said Dr. Stilwell.

She also pledged she would work with Northern business leaders and organizations to find out how best to attract new investment and encourage more young people to study technology and prepare themselves for careers in high-tech positions for the natural resources, manufacturing and transportation industries.

How weird...Stilwell doesn't have a chance at becoming party leader...not even close.
Surely, she doesn't really think she does...or does she?
But this is not what it is really all about anyway.
The question is,when the smoke and mirrors start to clear...who will she throw her support behind?
This is a game.
Who?
Stilwell bears watching very closely in the coming weeks,to see who she appears to be closest to, among the other leadership candidates.
If we can figure that out,it will be easy to predict who she will send her supporters to,likely after the first ballot once the voting starts.
This is an old trick when it comes to leadership conventions.
I vote for Gordon Wilson.
