Prince George, B.C. – There is growing speculation that Minister of Forests Mines and Lands, Pat Bell, and Minister of Transportation Shirley Bond will announce their support for Liberal Leadership hopeful  Kevin Falcon tomorrow  morning.
The two Cabinet Ministers are attending an event tomorrow morning along with Falcon at the Coast Inn of the North.
Bell and Bond have yet to publicly declare who they will support in the leadership race.
When contacted by Opinin250,  Bell would not disclose the reason for his attendance at the morning news conference, he would neither confirm nor deny that the event is to throw support behind Falcon.
The event was not organized by the Provincial Government . The   media advisory for the event was issued by Falcon’s publicity team and it has been labelled,  a “Kevin Falcon Announcement.”

Huge mistake on the part of Bond and Bell if they do decide to jump into bed with Kevin Falcon.
But not suprising.
Reminds me of the Cindy Lauper song...True Colors....
I wonder if they do everything together?! One sits the other wipes..
I am speculating that Falcon is going to announce provincial money for the PAC if he wins the leadership race. ;-)
For Pat, he will announce the Wood Innovation Centre for the 4th???, I think, time.

For Shirley he will announce the completion of the 4 laning of the Cariboo Connector by 2015, PG's 100th Anniversary gift.
On a more serious note ......

I sure hope that if Falcon does not win, that we will still have someone in cabinet from here, especially wih some very meaningful portfolios. :-(
Andy, I agree,I'm really hoping they don't.
Pat has done a lot of good with his portfolio and I really hope he stays neutral and waits. Who knows, he may have a run at the top job if he stays honest.
I really wish these folks would understand that the common voter just wants truth and honesty. I think Pat has kept his integrity.
George Abbott said he would raise our carbon tax. Tsk. Tsk. Tsk.
Come on people it is time for a change whether it be good or bad...Old story a man once told me, If you have 12 dull axes and you move them to different places you still have 12 dull axes...these members have been in too long and start to think they can do what ever they want because they will getting voted back in...time for a change just to remind them that we the voters are their boss...
Declining to say whether or not you support a fellow Liberal should be a no brainer. By declining to answer the question is stupid. What do they hope to gain or lose by doing so? Just more secrecy and stupidity from the Liberal Party members. There is always the point that they can't think for themselves and have to ask Gordon first.
George Abbott is best for Libs and for the Province. Falcon too hard-assed by his past performance - BC needs George
Bang on Steve!!!!! I agree that against the NDP, no matter who their leader will be, Falcon will lose the next election if there are no credible third parties running.

This is all about who is the best person to win the next provincial election. The fight will not be in the North, the fight will be in the lower mainland and the island. Someone who can win there to win the province AND believes the rest of the province is part of the family as well is going to be the best leader.
