Photo Contest Selects Winners

Prince George, B.C.- As part of the myPG sustainabiity plan, a contest was set up to find the best photos of Prince George.

Those taking part were asked to express what they love about Prince George, their favourite place and what defines Prince George as unique to them.

The winners are:

1st place, Daniel Stanyer, for his image of the City taken from University Way in October of last year. That photo is the one at the head of this article.

Second prize was awarded to Bill Campbell for his view of the Fraser River, shown at right:

And third prize was awarded to TylerNeilson for his photo, at bottom left, entitled "Forest"

All three images will be used as part of a Prince George photo essay to be

presented at the final public review of the Official Community Plan in 2011.
