Building Stats Still Up In Regional District

Building stats for January in the Regional District of Fraser Fort George are up over January of 2005.
24 permits were issued last month, more than twice the number issued a year ago. 

Here is the breakdown:

January 2006, 24 permits issued with a value of $820,000. Permit fees were $6,074, three of the permits were for single family dwellings, valued at $572,000

January of 2005, 11 permits issued with a value of 50,000. Permit fees were $1,334 and none of the permits were for single family dwellings

Two years ago:
January 2004, 12 permits issued, for a value of $188 thousand dollars. Permit fees were $2,256. The permits included one single family dwelling valued at $129,000.
