Cougars In Spokane To Face Chiefs

The last time the Cougars played three games in three nights on the road, they went 2-and-1. They get another test at that daunting task again, starting with a date against the Spokane Chiefs Friday in Washington.
The Cougars are looking to bring an end to their current four game losing streak that has put the Cougars in seventh in the Western Conference. They are still sitting third in the BC division, but have a one point lead on Kamloops and are six up on Chilliwack. The Cougars are facing a US division opponent for the fifth time of six straight, which ends tomorrow against the Everett Silvertips.
The only time the Cougars and Chiefs faced each other was October 27 in Spokane, with the Chiefs prevailing 7-3. The Cougars will host the Chiefs next weekend in Prince George. The Chiefs go into the game second in the US division at 38-17-4-2 and are coming off a disappointing 5-1 loss on home ice to Seattle Wednesday.
The Cougars Sena Acolatse is the hottest Cougar of the bunch, recording nine points, eight of which assists, during his current seven game point streak. Tyler Johnson of the Chiefs is their leading scorer, two points shy of 100 and five goals away from 50.
