Mackenzie In Top Ten for Hockeyville

Prince George, B.C.- The time has come Prince George to show your support to our neighbours in Mackenzie.
 
That community has made it to the top ten of the Kraft Hockeyville competition.
 
Competition is stiff, as Mackenzie is up against Fort Nelson, and eight other communities from across the country:
 
·        Antigonish, N.S.
·        Conception Bay South, N.L.
·        Chateauguay, Que.
·        Saint-Raymond, Que.
·        Navan, Ont.
·        Wolfe Island, Ont.
·        Bentley, Alta.
·        Brandon, Man.
 
Voting has already started to narrow the field to five finalists.
 
You can show your support by casting a ballot in one of two ways,
 
1.      online at the Kraft Hockeyville website or
2.      toll-free over the phone at 1-866-533-8066.
 
The deadline to vote is Sunday, March 13,  8:59p.m. PT, with the top five communities being unveiled  March 19.
 
A $100,000 cash prize from Kraft Canada for arena upgrades awaits the winner along with an NHL pre-season game and a special Hockey Night in Canada broadcast of the event.
 
Communities that make it into the top five will each win $25,000 from Kraft Canada for arena upgrades.

Goog morning Prince George ,Mackenzie can use all the help you can give but it will allso be great for PG.If we win my understanding is that the NHL pre seson game that goes with winning has to be played in a NHL approved rink, and that would probally be the CN center and Mackenzie would be the host so I think we would all be winners in that case

What I've done (and I tell you this to suggest that you do the same) is to add the voting site to my favorites list and then bring it to the top of the list.

Everytime I go onto the internet I vote first....lost count of how many times I've voted but it's up there!
