Dust Advisory Lifted for P.G.

Prince George, B.C.- The Dust Advisory has been lifted for Prince George.

Ministry of Environment  Air Pollution  Meteorologist Dennis Fudge says the  weather system has flushed out  most of the  dust that was  kicked up in the bowl area of the city.

Fudge says while there may be more dust this afternoon, he expects it will be below the provincial  objectives.

The Provincial objective   for PM2.5,  is 25 micrograms per cubic metre, averaged over 24 hours.  The provincial air quality objective for coarse particles, PM10, is 50 micrograms per cubic metre, averaged over 24 hours.

Who cares about dust particles? Really?? If they were a problem, there isn't a farmer who should be alive.
