Political Deals On Top Of Political Deals

If there was no collusion as to when the Conservative Government would be toppled, and equally when Harper would call an election, read on.
A few weeks ago, I was approached by an unnamed person who suggested that I might make a good candidate for the Liberal Party Federally in one of these ridings. I said “ no”.
But it was what was said afterwards that is really telling. This person pointed to the fact that an election would be called Friday March 25th.
Now the budget had not yet been presented, which suggests that there was deal in the works to dump the Tories after they tabled the budget regardless of what it contained.
Never mind the fact that NDP leader Jack Layton said he was waiting to see what was being offered. The Liberals are chomping at the bit hoping to have an election and then knock off the Conservatives by forming an alliance with the three opposition parties, the Liberals, NDP and the Block.
It's a re- hash of what they proposed to do some months ago.
Were the Conservatives expecting this was going to take place? Of course they were. Look no further than Stockwell Day's riding which was for all intents and purpose rigged so that a former staff member would get the nod on some very short notice.
A few weeks ago I sat and listened to Jay Hill telling the audience that he has learned to never trust the media. Well let’s take stock of what is taking place and you quickly get the feeling that the media simply doesn’t trust the politicians of the day and the recent events suggest they have good reason.
I’m Meisner and that’s one man’s opinion.
