Prince George, B.C.- Highway 16 east, three kms east of Slim Creek is now open to single lane alternating traffic.
Vehicles will be guided through the area by a pilot vehicle.
The area had been closed to all traffic since Tuesday night when a propane B-Train went off the highway. The rear tanker exploded, and the lead tanker was allowed to burn off. The driver suffered minor injuries.
The road though may be closed for extended periods of time if the road becomes unstable.
