West Fraser CFO Retiring

Vancouver, B.C. - West Fraser's Chief Financial Officer is retiring.
Gerry Miller, Executive Vice-President, Finance and CFO will retire at the end of July 2011.
Miller joined the Company in 1986 as Corporate Controller and has served West Fraser in a number of senior management roles in administration, operations and finance.
Hank Ketcham, Chairman, President and CEO has lauded Miller's career with the company "Gerry has made an enormous contribution to West Fraser during his 25 years with us. He personifies the West Fraser culture—straightforward, consistent, hard-working with strong fundamental values."
Larry Hughes, Senior Vice-President and Secretary, will become Vice-President, Finance and CFO upon Miller's retirement. Hughes joined West Fraser in September of 2007 following a 27-year career as a corporate and commercial lawyer.
