Prince George, B.C.- Snowboard Canada Magazine reps are in Prince George this week, getting in some late season runs, and putting together a special article about what the region has to offer for snowboarders.

The article will appear in next season’s Snowboard Canada Women’s Annual.

Two former Olympic athletes are among the six people from Snowboard Canada visiting Prince George.  Mercedes Nicoll is one of the Olympians, she placed 6th in the half pipe competition last year in Vancouver.

They  will have their days filled with heli skiing, visits to Powder King and Tabor Mountain. The après  ski life will also be explored with spa treatments and some tasty treats at P.G. restaurants.

The crew will be at Tabor on Saturday for the last day of that resort’s operations this season. Half day lift ticket rates are in effect all day.
