Prince George, B.C.- An all candidates debate is set for   Monday April 18th in Prince George.

The event is  slated to take place at the College of New Caledonia , in room 1-306 and is being organized by the Prince George Chaber of Commerce, in partnership with the Northern Real Estate Board , the Immigrant and Multicultural Services Society and the Prince George Construction Association.

Chamber of Commerce CEO Jennifer Brandle McCall says the format will be similar to previous candidate debates. “ There will be two sessions with the  candidates for Cariboo-Prince George up from 5:00 to 7:15, there will be a short break, then the candidates for Prince George- Peace River will be asked questions. The format for both sessions will see candidates asked specific questions developed by our partners in this event. Then, there will be an opportunity for the public to submit questions which will be put to the candidates.”

The event will not have a panel asking questions, rather, there will be a solo moderator.

All of the candidates from the two ridings have confirmed their participation in this event. Those candidates are:

Another boring event.
I might go just to heckle Lois Boone. :)
Still can't believe Lois Boone is back in play!
What were they thinking?
I think everyone is thinking about the same. "This PG voter crowd is predictable."

You know, it is very sad. All parties know that there will eventually be another election, but no party is ever ready for one with a crisp new "go-getter" type person who has been groomed for the opportunity and has been "working the crowd" long before the election call.
Actually, I am not quite right about that.

The north Conservative riding was ready to elect a member to run for their camp.

Hill did it right by leaving when he did. Zimmer was groomed and ready to the extent where both PG candidates actually thought they had a chance and pulled up not first, not second, but third.
I think I'm going to vote for the kid instead of spoiling my ballot. He might have fresh ideas on how to screw us.
I hope some of the subject matter of the editorial (on Canada's financial situation) on today's Money Talks radio show by Michael Campbell on CKNW radio in Vancouver will be discussed at his forum.

I hope there's not a hockey game on then??
