Prince George RCMP are thanking the public for assistance in locating 19-year-old Brittany McMillan.

Police issued an alert after McMillan's abandoned vehicle was found on the Foothills Bridge early yesterday morning.  McMillan, herself, had not been seen since Monday morning at a local coffee shop.

But RCMP say they have met with the young woman, confirming she's okay.

Still missing though, is 55-year-old Randolph Peal.  Peal is legally blind and has not been seen since February 4th, although there are reports his white, folding cane was seen on the Simon Fraser Bridge.  Police have not been able to find it.

Peal is described as a First Nations male, five-feet-eight inches tall, weighing 155-pounds.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince George detachment at 561-3300.

I saw the car parked on Foothills Bridge Thursday night and it was still there 2 hours later parked right in the middle of the road. I thought it was a jumper, because who parks their car right in the middle of the road....

I hope she recieved a ticket for endangering the public by not safely removing her car to the shoulder of the road.
From what I heard on the radio, the woman claims to have been at a party where her car was stolen. Why should be ticketed for that?

Something about her story just doesn't add up to me though, she goes to a party, has her car stolen, and noone she knows hears from her for a couple days? Maybe she should have reported her car gone!
I am curious as to how her family was treated throughout this ordeal; and how can you assume the cane belongs to Randy Peal. His neice Rhonda Peal at rspeal@hotmail.com please reply
