Spruce Kings Sign Two More

Prince George, B.C.- The Spruce Kings have signed two more players  for the upcoming season.   Dylan Tappe and Josh Bryan were part of separate player trades within the British Columbia Hockey League at the January 10th trade deadline.

Dylan Tappe is a 1992 born 5' 10" 175lbs forward from Spokane, Washington. Tappe was acquired from the Trail Smoke Eaters as part of the future considerations portion of the January 10th trade for Nic DeSousa.

"We're excited to acquire a player like Dylan for our organization," said Spruce Kings General Manager, Mike Hawes. "Dylan is a hard working skilled forward with tremendous offensive abilities and will be able to play in all  situations for us next season."

Josh Bryan is a 1993 born 6' 02" 195lbs defencman from Sidney, BC. Bryan was acquired from the Victoria Grizzlies to complete the future considerations portion of the trade for Justin Fillion.

"Josh is a tremendous young defenceman that brings a terrific all around  game and good size to our back end." continued Hawes. "We were able to significantly improve our defence core on the January 10th trade deadline and by adding Josh to that mix will make us that much better."

Both players are looking forward to playing in Prince George for the Spruce Kings 40th season and will be in attendance at the team's main camp in late August.
