CN Western V.P. To Address Council

Peter Marshall, CN's Senior Vce President, Western Canada Region, along with CN's Senior Manager of Public and Government Affairs, Jim Feeny,  appear before Prince George City Council this evening.  

Feeny says they are here to talk about "CN's safety practices and procedures in the Prince George area, as well as other matters of mutual interest.".

Other items on the Council agenda, include:

-The Heritage Commission's Heritage Strategic Plan  

-Presentation from the Red Cross

-revisited rezoning application for All Roads R.V on First Avenue

-request for support to have the Prince George Riverboat Association's request for funding for a Nechako river boat launch, go to the Northern Development Initiatives Trust. 

-Mayor's report on the downgrading of the Municipal Finance Authority's credit rating

-request to proceed with mausolea / columbaria project

The CN Meeting will be all PR and smoke and mirrors. Then on the other things. ]
The downgrading of the credit rating of the Municipal Finiancing Authority may be of some interest. This is where the City gets all their money for their favourite projects.
